Welcome! Jeff Crouse is a drummer/ percussionist living in Cary, NC with a passion for music. Rock, Jazz, Blues, Praise and Worship are some favorites. Jeff has been playing drums and percussion for over 35 years. He began as many people do by joining the school band in 6th grade. He attended Virginia Tech and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion Performance. Jeff went on to the University of Miami and after two years, he received his Master’s in Studio Jazz Drumming. He has learned from and been inspired by many people including Catrina Crouse, Jim & Regina Crouse, Howard Curtis, Dr. John Floyd, Chip McNeil, Steve Bagby and Steve Rucker.
Jeff has played with many musicians and bands including The Chicken Fried Blues Band, The Musicians, Grant Osborne, Paul Bomar, Doug Largent, Jim Martinez, Alan Heckle, Peter Innocenti, Jeanne Jolly, Steve Hobbs, Gregg Gelb, Fred Westbrook, Dave Youngman, John Brown, Ed Paolantonio, Paul Westlake, John Bass, Justin Abood, Blue Sky Crying, The Clayton Piano Festival, The Concert Singers of Cary, Keith Ganz, Adrien Re and Scott Sawyer. I can also be found playing every Sunday at 11am with the praise band at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Cary. We play a mix of contemporary praise and worship music, hymns, and jazz.
